Google Rank
Much has been said about Google`s pagerank and its importance to a
website`s success. At various times in recent history there has also been
"loopholes" in search engine ranking giving website owners a short
interval
of success until those loopholes close. There is only one constant -
search engines constantly evolve and improve in order to achieve better
relevance to the user`s needs. their ultimate aim is to find the MOST
relevant sites to the users requirements - to become more and more
intelligent and harder to trick. So tricks are by default doomed to
ultimate failure. If a site is good for your customers, it will in time
gain better ranking by the search engines. Common sense tells us that
this is the only end result a search engine strives for - relevance!
A site owner or his/her hired Seach Engine Optimiser can stuff a site with
keywords, generate artificially high links back to their site, write
invisible text designed for search engines but not humans, cloak, spam,
pay for placement. For the long haul though, there is no better way than
to create good relevant sites that are technically sound, useable, easy to
navigate, easy to search and totally up to date.
