Website Creation

Websites can be anything from a single static page to an immense repository of information arranged in large hierarchal databases.

Static websites are still the most common, although dynamic (script driven) sites are gaining rapidly. Webpages are documents created in an open standard format known commonly as HTML, a mar up language designed for ease of use and fast efficient formating of human readable documents. A simple static webpage advertising your presence can be created and posted on the World Wide Web in very short order and at very low cost. Many hobby sites and small part time or home based businesses opt for this easy solution.

Dynamic webpages are in general pages that are generated as they are requested by an internet user. Dynamic pages, by virtue of the fact that they are assembled in accordance with the user`s request are the common solution for ecommerce and large information sites, search engines and any site where a specific page is needed. Typically such a page is closely matched with the user`s needs because the information on the page is either calculated in response to a user`s request, or extracted from a server side database and thus represents the very latest version, every time.

Further to the dynamic paradigm described above,
CMS allows you, the owner of the site, to edit and add your own content, create new pages, edit existing pages, news items, links and so on without having to learn all the tricks and traps of web site structure or language.
